LHHG’s favorite designer is Zuhair Murad. LHHG’s favorite gown designed by Murad was worn by Jennifer Lopez. The dress was tastefully designed to show off all the curves of a women and still celebrate women’s femininity. Jennifer Lopez wears the dress with style and confidence.
Zuhair Murad’s 2013 collection is titled “Golden Age,” featuring Lemarié for feathers, yards of silks, yards of tulle, detailed embroideries, sequins, pearls, and trims to create a light weight and airy form fitting formal collection, a fashion feature found in the art from ancient Greece. Met Gala “PUNK” red carpet fashion favorites

Take a look at what I, Vanessa G. Turner, on LHHG’s Pinterest Met Gala FAV 2013, picked as the top Punk fashions at the 2013 Met Costume Gala.
The Metropolitan Museum’s (The Met) Costume Gala is an annual ball that was hosted by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Moda Operandi, Vogue, and Samsung this year; and is considered one the fashion industry’s most “dressed to impress” red carpet events. Since 1948, the annual affair celebrates the annual opening of the the Met’s fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. This year’s fashion exhibit is titled, “Chaos to Couture,” which explores the impact of punk fashion on high fashion”
The funds raised are to support the Costume Institute collections. The Institute houses “more than thirty-five thousand costumes and accessories, representing five continents and seven centuries of fashionable dress, regional costumes, and accessories for men, women, and children, from the fifteenth century to the present.”

2013 Inauguration First Family’s Fashion

What I love about the First Lady Michelle Obama’s and her daughter’s, Malia and Sasha, clothes were the military style coats. The First Lady’s navy blue silk jacquard coat design is reminiscent of the 1950′s cross hatch pattern found on men’s neck ties. The coat was designed by Thom Brown and tailored to fit her body perfectly. The bright colors of J. Crew worn by Malia and of Kate Spade worn by Sasha were appropriate for the two fun loving teenagers. All coats complimented the setting for the Commander and Chief. A well done styling moment. picture source Huffington Post
